Rent Free Apartment Available - Warden Required

We have a vacancy for an on-site Warden at our purpose built student accommodation in Winchester.

The warden would live on site in a fully furnished one bedroom flat (partner welcome). Utilities, Council Tax and broadband are also included.

The role of the warden is to carry out a range of duties across sites in Winchester. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: patrolling the sites, dealing with disturbances and complaints from neighbours, ensuring all areas of the accommodation are litter free, cleaning the communal stairways on a regular basis, carrying out routing ‘domestic’ maintenance tasks and helping with handover each year. The warden is be on-call during evenings and on site during the night 5 nights per week with Assistant wardens providing two nights cover. (For the avoidance of doubt this role does not involve any pastoral care).

Due to the nature of the work, candidates must have good interpersonal and communication skills, a mature attitude, a flexible approach to duties and working hours, and be reliable and responsible.

In addition to the accommodation provided, the role attracts a salary of £5,000 per annum and could suit someone with an existing daytime job (full or part time) looking for a great opportunity to save.
