Bright double room available in house in Barnet

Available double room

Hi! I'm Laura and I'm one of the current tenants at this property. I moved here last October and due to the C*vid situation, my housemates won't be staying for the next year so their rooms will become available on the 1st of October.

I honestly have to say I love this house and that's why I decided to stay and look for new housemates (it's proven to be a great place to be in l*ckdown, if it ever had to happen again, just saying).

I'm ideally looking for young female professionals like myself who like having a good laugh and are tired of living in busy central London (there are still pubs in the area and great connections to central though, don't worry!). Needless to say, the usual stuff: people who clean after themselves, keep the common areas tidy and are nice and open so we can enjoy a lovely home-share together!

The house has a very big and bright kitchen, living room and a great garden with a patio area and a small shed/summer house. There's a shared bathroom on the second floor and a shared toilet on the first floor. There's also another living room/space that I currently use as a studio for my teaching but can also be shared out of my teaching hours as a creative/office/dining room space.

Dogs are more than welcome but sadly, I'm allergic to cats so I'll have to say no to them, sorry!

The landlord also wanted to specify that smoking wouldn't be allowed indoors.

The only room available right now is the cosy double in the pictures. It isn't massive but it's super bright, it's situated on the 2nd floor and it will be freshly painted in September. This one comes with a big wardrobe and the current occupant would be happy to sell the bed in the pictures to whoever comes in if they want it (it's practically new, only used for 5 months!).

The house was unfurnished when we got it last October so most of the furniture from the common areas will be staying (because it's mostly mine).

It's a 15 minute walk both to New Barnet Train Station and High Barnet Tube Station, with great connections with National Rail and the Northern Line. There are also plenty of buses in a 5 minute walking distance if you happen to work around North London.

The neighbours are lovely and the neighbourhood is quiet and really safe. There are plenty of big parks around if you like nature walks, a small Tesco and a small M&S 5 minutes away and a very big Sainsbury's by New Barnet Station.
