Double room for rent in a three-bedroom semi-detached house in North Bushey.

5-10 minute walk to Watford Town Centre, 10-15 walk to Watford High Street Station, Bushey Station, and Watford Junction!

Tenant must be clean, tidy, and have exceptional self-hygiene! (Bad past experience!)

Tenant is welcome to use the lounge, dining room, family bathroom, downstairs toilet, kitchen, (as long as it is left immaculate after use), and garden/garden patio.

Parking permit can be arranged. Landlord is also the key-holder for the trading estate opposite, therefore, free parking across the road is also an option.

I have a female Akita called Lucie, she is eight years old and very friendly. She loves people!

A bit about me… I am a forty-seven year old guy of Greek-Cypriot parents. I was born in London. I run a children’s sports coaching company, Skill 7 FC, which has been running for 25 years. Any questions welcome. 🙂

For the record, I’ve had five lodgers, four ladies and one guy. With these experiences, I will NEVER allow a guy to rent a room in my home again! The smell was unbearable, finger prints everywhere, kitchen was a mess whenever he cooked, all surfaces used were left in a state, clothes all over the floor, (including underwear and socks!), door left open so the smell wafted around the house, bedroom windows kept closed, allowing the smell to fester, food and drink kept in his bedroom, and the bathroom left in a mess EVERY TIME! 🤮

As for the four ladies who have stayed here… very few issues, and when there was the odd issue, these were resolved immediately.

Cleanliness is a big thing for me. People always comment how clean my home is, even with an Akita living here, (I had two but my boy passed away last year).

Before anybody commits, we would both need to feel comfortable living under the same roof. A face-to-face meet, wherever a potential lodger feels comfortable, is a must. Happy to meet at my home, at a pub, café, or park/public place. I’ll even bring Lucie along! (My eight year old Akita). 🐶
