Minimum £350.00 To be paid 1 month in advance, no deposit required but breakages and damage to be repaired or replaced like for like (although there isn't anything likely to break) IDEALY arrive Monday and return to your own home Friday 8pm when we would prefer you left for the weekend. We can be flexible on occasions. The room is yours and will not be used while you are not there at the weekends. The house is clean but lived in. The bedroom although single is not cluttered, you will need to provide your own duvet and bedding, towels. A TV screen (Free Wifi) will be provided but your need to connect your iPad to it or use for DVD. You will need to provide any food or drinks you need. We are wanting a Lodger NOT a house share, so no house work or responsibility, for you. We ask that just keep your room clean and wash up after Kitchen use and normal bathroom hygiene. You will be expected to take your washing home to deal with.
Just 4 miles from St Albans. 30 mins via lanes to WGC and Hatfield and similar to Watford, 5.5miles from house to St Albans train station all depending on route taken. 2 minute walk to bus stops.
Your room is south facing looking over the garden, a single bed with a set of draws, a wardrobe and a bedside cabinet, a shelving unit, laminate flooring, Your welcome to make the room your own as it is plain. A Clean lived in house, but not a show home, shared bathroom with over bath shower, hot water always available, sink and WC also a WC downstairs. Plenty of free street parking available, you will need a car or bus to get to train station's. Bus stop just a 2 min walk from the house, High street slow 10 min walk, and the lovely Common about 5 min walk. We have 2 small friendly dogs. Kitchen diner with dishwasher available for use. The village has plenty of pubs and churches, the high street have a good selection of shops. The countryside is fantastic?, a good outside life, we are central to most of the big towns, have a look at the map. If you would like to stay in a village close to all the towns and under 10min drive to the M1 junc 9 then give us a call/email and we can talk details. The pets are not allowed in your room but do have the freedom of the house when we are there, for the purpose of any allergy needs, I also have a horse.
We have been very successful with our lodgers, with them only having to leave after new jobs or home relocation. We have found this set up works best if you have a regular family home to return too on weekends.
