Affordable accommodation offered in RICKMANSWORTH – WD3 area, looking for someone to live in from October 2019 excellent opportunity for a Female or Male homesharer who is looking to live in a lovely home.

We are a Not-for-Profit charity in London who run a Homeshare programme, where we find homesharers who are willing to provide approximately 10 hours a week of help, support and companionship to a householder who has a spare room.

TRANSPORT
Various bus routes to local tube stations
Travelling by public transport the bus stop is a 20 minute walk, buses go to Watford and Amersham.
The train station is a 16 minute walk to Rickmansworth is an interchange railway station in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, northwest of central London, served by the London Underground Metropolitan line and by Chiltern Railways.
It is one of the few London Underground stations beyond Greater London and as a consequence is in Travelcard Zone 7.
Rickmansworth Town Centre is 5 minutes by car and a 15 minute walk.

HOUSEHOLDER
A lovely lady in her 90’s, she was born in Bristol then moved to Rickmansworth, she was a great golfer for many years. She has lived in her current home for more than 60 years it’s a lovely 3 bedroom house, she is a widower after 64 years of marriage and is now looking for a kind and friendly Homesharer for companionship.

The help and support required is help with shopping, emptying the dishwasher, putting the washing out and some companionship.

The ideal candidate would be a kind and friendly individual, someone who can integrate with the householder, someone she can talk and engage with to avoid loneliness and offer companionship and who can approach Homesharing with a lot of empathy with an emphasis on patience, she also likes the idea of helping someone who would struggle to pay London rent in South East in exchange for help/support.

ACCOMMODATION
A spacious 3 bedroom house on a very nice road in Rickmansworth, there is a lift in the house for the householder.
For the homesharer there is a single bedroom with a single bed with a chest of drawers and a free standing cupboard and can have their own bathroom the householder has her own shower room.
There is a shared fully equipped kitchen, living and dining room.
There is a parking space available on the drive.
Internet is available

The room is available immediately subject to DBS and Reference checks and after an initial meeting has been organised.
