The rooms are based in a large rural family farmhouse in St Paul's Walden which is in close proximity to Hitchin, Knebworth, Stevenage, Welwyn Garden City, Letchworth Garden CIty and Cambridge. The train links into London are very efficient taking 25-40 minutes.

We are an active outdoors family. of 3. The house is roomy and arranged over 3 floors. It sits in a lovely setting though may not suit someone who prefers a city/town/ultra modern dwelling. The rooms to rent are on the third floor and accessed through a separate front door to the one we generally use, we primarily inhabit floors 1 and 2 so there is a very good degree of privacy as the accommodation is quite separate from the rest of the house..

Suitable for either a single occupancy or a couple - The accommodation consists of a very large fully furnished double room, a separate lounge with kitchenette, TV and access to broadband and a bathroom (bath with handheld shower), all of which are for exclusive use.

This will suit a mature independent professional, or couple. There is the opportunity for part time work as part of the arrangement for an animal knowledgeable person..
I am looking for a person/persons who will enjoy the character of a listed house.. Also we have dogs, horses, chickens etc (although as a point of reassurance non of our animals are allowed upstairs!! ;0)

The rent price for a couple is £100.00 more per month than the advertised price AND/OR there is the opportunity to work part time helping with the house and animals - happy to discuss options.
