£500pm - Large double room in Beckenham

We have large double room to rent in Beckenham available from 01 April 2021.

The Room

The room is big, bright and airy and has a large window. The room is part furnished with a double bed and built in wardrobes.

The Flat

The flat is on the first floor and has direct access, so no shared communal area with any of the neighbours. It’s very spacious, with a shared living and dining room, kitchen, bathroom and plenty of storage space.

There is a front garden as well as a large communal garden to the rear, shared between 12 flats.

There is a garage, but no other off road parking.

You would be living with two other housemates.

Courtney - i’m 29 and am a solicitor, originally from Sunderland and have been living in London for around 6 years now.

Janina is 28 and is a history teacher. She is orginally from Germany and has been living in london for 7 years.

Normally, due to our jobs we would be out all day during the week but around most evenings and weekends. But at the moment with lockdown and current regulations we are both working from home and are around a lot more.

We keep the flat generally clean and tidy and are very respectful of one another. We get along well and do socialise - we love a glass of wine and a good film together, but also respect each others space and privacy and will often spend time in our own rooms too.

We have friends round now and then and guests are welcome to stay over and we will try to let each other know in advance when this is going to happen.

We are looking for someone likeminded to share our home. Preferably female and between 25-35 years old.

The Area

We are a 3 minute walk to Beckenham Junction train station and tram stop, a 4 minute walk to Beckenham Highstreet which is full of shops and bars, a 10 minute walk to Beckenham Place Park and around a 15 minute walk to New Beckenham station. We are also around 20 minutes on the bus to Bromley South station and Bromley town centre, so there is lots going on in the area. Brixton is 15 minutes on the train and victoria 20 minutes from Beckenham Junction station.

House Keeping

The bills come to £118 each per month, but can vary depending on the season.

The rent is £500 per calander month, to be paid on the last day of each month, along with all of the bills. There is no deposit, just the first months rent in advance to secure the room.
