Hi all!

A single room to let has recently become available in this nice house near Grove Park.

The room has just been repainted, hence why the carpet is a little bit messy atm. The landlord is planning to pay for a professional cleaner to clean up the whole room nicely before anybody moves in. The room has a single bed frame, mattress and a window facing our beautiful garden. The landlord is also willing to purchase a wardrobe, desk and chair of your choice. I suggest you ask him to purchase a new mattress too. Otherwise, you’re free to buy your own furniture :)

As stated in the ad, all bills are included. The deposit is very cheap, just £300!

You will be provided with an Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement and your deposit will be protected under a government approved scheme, as required by law.

The landlord will require a reference from your previous landlord, work contract and last 3 months bank statement.

WOMEN ONLY.
The new flatmate must be CLEAN and TIDY. There is going to be a cleaner attending the premises weekly, but it is no excuse to not be able to clean after yourself!

- About the current flatmates…

I am Italian, 26 years old and work full-time in Clinical Psychology. Thus, I am usually home on weekends and at work for most of the time during weekdays. I have three lovely, very quiet cats - Zoe, Leo and Oliver. They spend most of the time in my room or outdoors. I expect the new flatmates to be mindful of my pets. This house is pet friendly, so you are very welcome to have your furry baby here - unless it is a big dog lol. Smaller dogs that are okay with cats might be considered. However, the landlord might ask you to pay for professional deep cleaning once you leave due to dog smell and hair.

My flatmate, Lekan, is in his thirties and works for Boots Optician. He comes from Nigeria and is lovely and kind. You’ll benefit from tasty African soups cooked by him once in a while! Lekan is very quiet and works full time too.

Finally, Dennis. He moved in just a few weeks ago and has already shown what a lovely flatmate he is! He is the youngest among us, 24 years old. Dennis is British and works in IT. He loves cats just like I do, so he’s always eager to cuddle my furry babies!
