The Location: The house sits on a quiet street with easy access to the centre of Gravesend and all its amenities. It’s only 5 minutes walk from the high street and 5 minutes walk to Gravesend station, so restaurants, bars, cinema, shopping, the gym are all on your doorstep.

The House: It’s a beautiful period property and tenants have said it has the feel of a family home. The house has a mix of period and modern furniture (double beds with comfy mattresses, a wall mounted desk and stool, bedside table with industrial style lamp and a wardrobe (freestanding or inbuilt). The kitchen has all the appliances you’d expect (electric oven and gas hobs, 1 large fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and kettle), as well as plenty of storage. The house has two good sized bathrooms (1 with shower, loo and sink and the other with shower, a separate bath, loo and sink) which are shared with the other 5 housemates, so a maximum of 3 people sharing 1 bathroom at any one time. The house and rooms have tasteful artwork throughout. The house also benefits from a large and sunny garden.

The Rooms: We have a large double room that is situated at the front of the house on the ground floor with a large bay window. It has a double size bed and mattress, wardrobe, wall mounted desk with stool, bedside table and artwork. There is also plenty of room for other furniture if required. The room is available from 17th August and costs £550 per month, but can be occupied by a MAXIMUM of 1 PERSON due to council restrictions.

The Bills: Your rent covers the cost of all bills (gas/electricity, water, council tax, tv license etc) and includes Sky unlimited superfast fibre broadband. A professional cleaner for the communal areas every two weeks and a gardener on an ad hoc basis is also provided. The property has Hive installed to keep the house at the perfect temperature all year round. In short, everything is taken care of!

The Tenants: Professional, tidy and respectful tenants. All 6 rooms are single occupancy, which means a maximum of 6 people will occupy the house at any one time.

The Landlord: A family-run business, we don't use letting agents and manage the property ourselves, so we are available personally for our tenants if there are any issues and there are no hidden charges. We ask for 1 months’ rent upfront and 1 months’ rent as a deposit, which is registered with the government. We ensure all our properties are safe, secure and well-maintained.
