Bright, South facing double room (single occupancy please) to rent in a well located house, in a lovely peaceful area. It is available now so best for someone who is looking to move in within 2 weeks.. Close to the sea and lots of shops.

I’ll be honest, the house needs updating. It’s quite comfortable, and has all mod cons plus a beautiful garden. The room is lovely. But the rest of the house is rather dated and could do with some improvement (especially the kitchen). It is steadily getting better but there is still some way to go!

Best suited to someone who goes out to work because the heating tends to be switched off during the daytime and the house gets cold in winter.

Location wise, it’s about 15 mins walk from the station, 5-10 mins from the sea, and about 20 mins walk into Herne Bay centre. There is a Co-op about 5 mins walk away, along with an excellent fish & chip shop, cafe and a few takeaways.
