About the accommodation

We have a renovated 4 storey Victorian mid terrace house, only 50 metres from Westbrook Bay beach. It is a few minutes’ walk from Margate train station as well as the town centre. There is a bus stop at the end of the street taking you to Westwood Cross, Broadstairs, Ramsgate and Canterbury etc.

We have a well presented furnished double bedroom available to rent to a non smoking professional person 20+ who works day shifts. All bills are included ie/ gas/electricity/council tax/Virgin fibre broadband.

We live on the ground floor which has a lounge & dining room for the landlords use along with a kitchen which is shared. On the 1st floor is our own bedrooms and bathroom.

On the 2nd floor we have a further two bedrooms and bathroom. One bedroom will be vacant from 5th May 2019. There is a shared bathroom (yourself and the current female tenant) with toilet, bath, over bath shower and wash hand basin.

On the top floor is a large loungeroom / occasional guest bedroom which has a lounge/day bed, shelving, coffee table and great views of the sea. This room is for the use of yourself and the current tenant.

You will be sharing the kitchen on the ground floor with the landlords and other tenant. The kitchen is near new and fully equipped with microwave, Induction hob, combi oven, main oven, dishwasher, washing machine & tumble dryer. We also have a fridge and freezer for the tenants’ use.

This is a lovely house that everyone comments positively about and hopefully would be the perfect environment for you to live in.

Please note the house is currently up for sale but we envisage it taking many months until it all goes through.

The room

The bedroom has a luxury king-size bed with a memory foam mattress. The room also a double cupboard and side tables with lamps and we provide bedding for you.

About us

We are a gay male couple in our early 50’s in a civil partnership. We have a good sense of humour, are approachable and friendly. We have 2 friendly King Charles Cavalier Spaniels who are only allowed on the ground floor so should be no bother to you. They are quiet and very friendly too.

About you

We are looking for a mature acting person, who is respectful and accepting of other people living in the house.

You must be working in full time employment.

You will enjoy living a quiet household, be friendly and approachable and be comfortable sharing a house with a gay male couple.

Finally, you must be clean & tidy (how clean you keep your room, is up to you, within reason) but your shared bathroom & loungeroom must be kept clean.
