Pleasant single room

I am a retired community education teacher in the post compulsory sector and live here with my lodger, who is retired and very into travelling and fitness. The house is in a peaceful area with easy access to the town centre, the train station and the sea.
The single room at the back of the house overlooks the garden and is a sunny, sweet room. I like to think we a friendly household. We have had various lodgers in the six years we have lived here and enjoy sharing with other people.
There is a TV aerial in the room and the house has a TV licence but there is no TV. There is WiFi in the house.
My partner is a retired research statistician and spends time here.
He lives in a separate house in Ramsgate snd i spend quite a bit of time there.
My 29 year old son ives and works in Bristol and comes home for holidays sometimes. I also have two nephews, 23 and 31 who sometimes come to stay.
We are all quite cosmopolitan and well travelled. I am vegan but my lodger is not although he cooks and eats sensitively.
