Room available short term in ML5

Hi! I’ve recently bought a flat and am looking for a short term flatmate to move in for around 3 months max.

Just uploading this to see if there’s any interest - will add a video tour on Thurs (16/05).

Appreciate this post is lengthy but just wanted to include all info!

The room available has a built in wardrobe, desk & chair, chest of drawers & single bed (I can possibly look at getting this changed to a double if this is an issue!).

The flat has an open plan living room/kitchen/dining area, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. My bedroom has an en-suite, so the main bathroom is only used by the odd guest - although happy to discuss this in further detail!

The flat has a washing machine/tumble dryer and a dishwasher.

The nearest train station is around 200m away. It’s <20 mins to Glasgow Queen Street and <1hr to Edinburgh Waverley.

I’m looking for around £500 per month inc. bills but happy to be flexible on this for the right fit. This will be a “lodger” agreement, and I will be using Shelter Scotland’s guidance to ensure there’s a proper contract between us, inventory, deposit receipt etc., to ensure we’re both protected.

When I’ve flatshared previously, my flatmates and I would put £10 each aside each month to keep up with shared expenses such as toilet roll, kitchen roll, cleaning supplies & dishwasher tablets. Would be happy to keep up this kind of arrangement!

As for me, I work for an asset management company based in Edinburgh. I’m in the office 3 days a week and wfh twice a week. I'm sociable and like a night out but I also like my own space and I'm respectful of that for others too. I‘ve got on really well with previous flatmates and hope this would be the case for the new flatmate too.
