Double Room available to rent in Dennistoun

The bedroom

I’m looking for a friendly [preferably female] student to take a room as my current flatmate is moving out. The room is available from the 14th of December.

The room is a good size and has built-in shelves on one side and the boiler on the other. It also has a large airy window facing the courtyard, so you’d get the quiet side of the flat!

The flat is on the first floor and looks onto Duke street. It has good central heating, a working washing machine and all appliances are certified. The bills are not included here, but it would be an extra £40 per month and includes electricity, gas and wifi. One month’s rent is required as a deposit.

The flat is a short distance from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow Caledonian University, and the city centre. There are frequent buses that take 10 minutes to get to the centre, or it is walkable in 20/25 minutes. There is also a Tesco and a Lidl a 10 minute walk away, and there are plenty of interesting pubs, shops and restaurants nearby.

I am a first year PhD student and work a few days from home each week, and the other days go into the office. In my spare time I enjoy cycling, going to the gym, reading, watching films, listening to music and hanging out with friends. I’m fairly quiet and easy going, but I would be happy to share a drink or watch TV.
