Double bedroom near the park

We have a good-sized, downstairs double bedroom close to Alexandra Park in Dennistoun available for let. The room has a double bed and good mattress, a desk, wardrobe space and a window into the front garden.

The house is a terraced house in a quiet cul-de-sac. We have a shared bathroom, living room and kitchen/dining room and two gardens. There's parking in the close and it's walking distance to the high street, Co-op and swimming pool/gym. The 38 bus stop on the high street, and we're a 4 mins walk to Alexandra Parade Station. It's only a 30 mins walk into the centre of town as well. Dennistoun is a really interesting and upcoming neighbourhood - there are plenty of nice cafes and restaurants a few minutes away, as well as Alexandra Park.

You will be living with Will & Roxy - we are professionals but have varying schedules week to week, so sometimes we WFH, sometimes we work away and occasionally like Dolly, we work 9-5pm. We both work in music/theatre, there's a keyboard in the house and lots of music scores. No TV, but a projector for movies which you'd be welcome to use.

We are looking for someone who is relaxed and easy going but will respect us and our space. A professional or mature student, but not someone who'll be working from home lots. We love a good dinner party, hiking on the weekends and sitting on the sofa reading a good book. Yes, we know it sounds like a dating profile but it's not, we promise!

We are open to short term lets, but if you're looking for a longer term let then please do get in touch - we would be definitely consider that if it's a good fit. We're also able to be flexible on start dates.

Lastly, we have a very friendly outdoor cat called Louis who will want to sit on your lap and will try to talk to you! He is the King of the house so we particularly welcome anyone happy with pets.
