Room to rent in bright and cosy Southside flat

Hi!

Me and my flatmate are each going travelling for a few weeks, and so there will be a room available in our bright, cosy, fully furnished flat in the Southside.

Our third flatmate Ruby has turned our living room into her bedroom, although it remains a semi-communal space for working/relaxing etc. This means the largest of the other two bedrooms is free! It is fully furnished with a bed, bedding, an armchair, lots of storage for clothes and everything else, and a large bookcase.

We're a 5 minute walk to Pollokshields East train station, which will get you into town in 5 mins, or a 15 minute walk to the subway which will take you all around the city.

We have a spacious hallway and a large kitchen with a breakfast table and plenty of surfaces, so despite not having a full living room we are not short on space and the flat doesn't ever feel cramped.

The flat is full of plants and is pretty cosy. We like to keep things fairly tidy, and atmosphere/calmness is something that is important to all of us - we all enjoy a bath and a nap, and are more of a dinner/wine/tea flat than a party house (we tend to party elsewhere!). Lots of our friends live nearby though, so we often have people popping in and out, so we would love to find somebody sociable and keen to meet new people!

We live pretty communally and share a lot of our food and other stuff in the house. You would be completely welcome to join in with this, or if you would rather do your own thing that is totally fine too!

Ruby is a full time student at GSA and India and myself both work full time, so we all have fairly busy schedules and are actually out of the house a lot, so we like to come home to a relaxed but sociable space. We have lots of similar interest and someone who enjoys the same things as us and is happy to just hang out would be perfect!

I am travelling in Nepal from 18th March until the beginning of May, and then India will be touring Central America from May until 19th June. The room is therefore available for a maximum of 3 months, and you would initially be living with Ruby and India for the first half, and then Ruby and myself for the remaining time. All bills including wifi, gas, electric and council tax are included in the rent of £100p/w.
