Double room available for rent in Hillhead area of Glasgow West End. The flat is furnished, comfortable, and very conveniently located. The flat is on the 1st floor, that’s the 2nd floor if you’re American. One above the ground.

Less than a minute from Byres Road, 5 mins from Hillhead subway station.

Cost of rent includes council tax and broadband, but does not include electricity and gas bills which usually amounts to £15-£20 per person in summer, £30-£35 per person in winter.

No shared bathroom! Current tenants bedroom has an en suite bathroom, so the communal bathroom pictured would not be used by me. It would be all yours! The flat comes with a dishwasher too.

I’m the current tenant, and looking for someone to take the place of my flatmate and friend who is moving out after having lived here for 3 years. I’m 32 years old, and work for Glasgow Libraries, currently working from home.

Looking for someone who is clean and tidy, and preferably has flat sharing experience and knows what is expected when sharing, such as upkeep of communal areas and chores, noise levels, etc. I’d prefer someone around my own age. Someone who prefers a more social environment and is happy to hang out sometimes is also preferred, but not looking for any wild parties please, especially at the moment!
