Double bedroom for rent in Glasgow City Centre

About the room and the flat:

The room is situated on the front face of a tenement in Merchant City. It’s furnished with a double bed frame, mattress, wardrobe and closing desk. The room was also furnished with a set of drawers but my current flatmate moved it into our living room so he could have more space in his bedroom; it fits quite nicely in the corner of the living room anyway! The rest of the flat consists of a small kitchen, large living room, medium bathroom, storage closet and the second bedroom (mine). It is the top floor.

The deposit:

My landlord is a private tenant, the deposit includes the first months rent upfront + a deposit of two months rent. If we meet up and get on, I would pass your details onto my landlord so you can get signed onto the lease.

Current tenant:

My current flatmate is a close friend who is graduating this summer so looking to move out! The move IN date for a new flatmate is flexible but is presently in the realm of the last week of June/start of July.

Location:

The flat is a few minutes walk from the centre of the Strathclyde University campus, a 15 minute walk from Caledonian, and a 12 min walk from Glasgow central station. The location is really great in general but especially for students; I am a university of Glasgow student and it takes me roughly 30 minutes to get to campus using the subway.

Me!:

I’m a 3rd year student entering my 4th and final year in September, so I’m interested in maintaining a productive routine. I also work part time! My preferences for a new flatmate are someone who is clean and friendly. I am quite introverted and don’t really go out to clubs or bars often, when I go out I favour pubs for a chill pint, so if that aligns with your style too, we might get on.
