Small double room near Kelvingrove Art Gallery

Hey y’all! We have a small double available for the start of April right across from the Kelvingrove art gallery.

The room itself is pretty small but for the price and location near the university / west end, I’ve found it to be a solid place to live! There's also pretty significant understair storage in the room as you can see in the pictures, which has been enough to easily fit suitcases and larger items like that.

There are four bedrooms along with a decent sized living room and kitchen. The flat right now is pretty multinational — I myself am from the United States and I'm in my third year of a PhD at the university of glasgow. The other two continuing flatmates are masters students, one from Scotland and the other from England, so postgrad students would be fantastic but it’s not the biggest deal.

In terms of compatibility, we are a generally chill but very welcoming group! As 3 mature students we are usually pretty busy but we get along well and it’d great to find someone that fits into the dynamic. One of the continuing roommates, Scott, and I are both involved with university of glasgow basketball, and Tom is involved with Lacrosse, so we are pretty active and enjoy hanging out together / getting drinks, etc. We like to have friends over occasionally and in general, it would be cool to also be friends w whoever moves in, but we definitely respect each others need for personal space and quiet (especially as things get busy in the year).

Bills are not included — in the summer it’s been about 20 a month for gas, obviously this gets a little higher in the winter. Electricity is on a digital meter that we take turns filling up, which comes to about an average of 10 pounds per month.
