The Flat🏰

The flat is privately owned, with full HMO licensing for four occupants. It came beautiful already, and we've just renovated the kitchen to add more counter space and an induction stove. Your room will come with a bed, desk, wardrobe, and chest of drawers, and private ownership means you'll have more freedom to decorate how you like.

It’s a top floor flat with a clean, well-kept stairwell and friendly neighbours mostly around our age. The flat gets lots of light and is very spacious, with a large entry hall and equally-sized bedrooms.

The Area🌳

The flat is right off Dumbarton Road on the Byres end of Partick, a road away from Glasgow Uni or a subway from Strathclyde and Caledonian. It’s a safe and lively area, filled with nice cafes, pubs and restaurants and lots of independent shops. The building is tucked around a corner, giving privacy from the bustle. A 6-minute walk from Partick Subway/Bus/Train Station means you can get pretty much anywhere.

You would be living with me and my boyfriend Joe, and our flatmate Leire.

I’m 26, I’m at Glasgow Uni doing my postgrad to become an English teacher🤓 I ride horses and love rock climbing, volleyball, musical theatre, and reading and writing.

Joe is 21 and in his second year at Strathclyde for Product Design Engineering. He’s a hardcore rock climber and route setter, and also enjoys gaming and playing guitar/violin.

Leire is 25 and she is a first year PhD student at Cancer Research UK. In her spare time she enjoys watching/playing almost any sport, reading, and watching reality TV (a guilty pleasure).

You🧞

This is not a party flat. Friends and gatherings are welcome, but this is a very chill and homey place🧘🏼‍♀️ We expect our flatmates to be clean and tidy, as well as responsive and on top of things.

Additionally, we’re looking for nesting-types, who are home regularly. I get anxious around being alone at night, so we’re not looking for people who travel a lot or work night shifts😌
