Sunny Double Room in Glasgow West End

Hi,

I am moving out of my room in this lovely flat in Finnieston and my flatmates Lauren and Holly are looking for someone to move into my room.

The flat is located in Finnieston just outside Kelvingrove park. 10 minutes walking time to Glasgow Uni and just over 5 minutes to exhibition center train station (trains to Glasgow center every 10 minutes, ride takes 3 minutes). There is a bus stop just outside the flat going directly into city center and another 1 minute walking distance going to Glasgow airport and Buchanan bus station.

Small Tesco and Saintsburys 1 minute by foot each and Lidl 10 minutes away. The vibrant area in the middle of the West End has lots of cafes, restaurants and pubs nearby to explore but because we are on the top floor and have double glazed windows you don’t hear much from outside.

The room comes fully furnished (you can see how I decorated the room in some of the pictures and I have also added pictures of the room without any decorations) with a big wardrobe, double bed, desk, chair, chest of drawers and a shelf. The widow faces south so plenty of sunlight in the room.

The kitchen is well equipped with all kitchen supplies needed (even a dishwasher!!), a laundry machine, plenty of shelf space and a large dining table for hosting or eating together. The living room is spacious and faces south as well. It has a TV, two comfy armchairs and a couch.

Holly and Lauren are both lovely people to live with and are both clean and friendly. We are a social flat but also respectful of each other’s space and privacy. I have lived in the flat for 4.5 years and am only leaving as I am moving away but it’s a great place to live and I have absolutely loved my time here.

Council tax is £57 per person per month, we are looking for someone who is willing to pay council tax even if you are a student. Wifi, Gas and electricity are around £50-70 per person per month depending on the season.
