Double room in Newton Mearns

Hi!

My name is Bea(she/her)! My partner Rory(he/him) and I just bought a house in Newton Mearns and we’re looking to rent out our spare room again! We’ve had a wonderful experience with our last tenant and hope to meet more amazing people!

About the house:

Our home has a good sized kitchen, loung-dinner, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.
We are slowly modernising, hence the lower rent but everything works absolutely fine! We also have brand new windows and doors (not yet pictured)

Room:

We are renting out the spare room for £150 per month plus bills are roughly £150 per month, this includes broadband.

We are renting out our room at a heavily discounted rate as we are looking for someone to look after our dog lola as part of the agreement.
We have a gorgeous cocker spaniel who loves people and was obsessed with our last tenant. Lola has anxiety being left alone and therefore we would like someone to help with her while we are not there.
We therefore need someone flexible and/or works from home.

We expect to be gone 1 day/evening per week and Pre planned holidays. We need full care while we are away, these dates will be provided to you prior to any arrangement if there are any in your tenancy term.
*We are away the 2-19 June but lola is with family so majority of June you’ll have the house to yourself. We will not increase rent for this term *
Please note that when you look after Lola while we are away or any period of time she cannot be left alone in the house and we cannot accept any guests into the house.

This agreement is subsidised rent for care of Lola and it’s important to us to have mutual trust.

About us:

Rory is a paramedic in Glasgow and works all hours so although he’s always quiet he will come and go at unsociable times.
Bea works with her dad and works from
home sometimes.
We both love to travel and experience new things!

About you:

We’re not about telling you how to live so all we ask is be respectful, clean up after yourself and help clean the house when needed (or on your own schedule) we have a paid cleaner who cleans the house which will be at an extra cost (included in your bills)
We aren’t a party house and really appreciate a quiet and calm home for us and Lola.

If you have a car there is plenty of parking opposite the house which Bea’s car also is. Rory has the main allocated space due to his hours.

Curtains are up, I just took the photo before hand. Well also provide bedding, but please bring a towel. The room has a bed with mattress and duvet and blankets my and a huge closet. We’ve removed all personal items from the room - again. I took the photos before removing them!

There is a bus 2 minute walk from the house that takes you to the city centre and lots of surrounding areas, we also have a train 15 minute walk away that goes into the city.
