Double Room In Lovely Todmorden

I'm looking for someone to come and live with me in my house in Cornholme, Todmorden. It's about 1.8 miles from the train station in Todmorden around a 40-minute walk or a 4-minute drive.

My previous lovely housemate has realised her dream of owning a boat! So I am looking for someone to move in around the beginning of October. I will be selling the house next year so this will be a short-ish term arrangement until around March next year.

I live here with my rescue Cat and rescue Dog (picture included). I moved here in August 2020 and I have been slowly renovating and now it's finished!

While the rest of the house is quite brightly decorated I have left the room neutral because I appreciate that not everyone shares my tastes.

I have recently renovated the room and cleaned the carpet. The room is 10 feet by 12 feet so you have an idea of the size. There is also plenty of space around the house to store your things and a very big accessible clean loft. I haven’t bought any furniture for the room yet because I wanted to see what the person moving in would need in case they would be bringing their own.

A little bit about me, I'm Lauryn (36 F) an Environmental Scientist currently working in research (I work either from home in my office or in Manchester). I love walking, gardening and cooking. I'm vegan so I would prefer to live with someone who doesn't eat meat or at least not regularly. I would also prefer to live with someone who shared my left-leaning pollical beliefs just to make sure we would be on the same page. While you wouldn't be expected to take care of the animals (apart from maybe feeding the cat occasionally in the morning while I'm away) I would like someone who actively likes to be around animals because this is their house and they do have free reign for the most part. I like to have friends over for cups of tea and dinner so I'm looking for someone who is at least a little bit sociable.

I spend about half my time in Manchester at my partners place and he is also at the house regularly too. But you will have your own space for some of the week.
