The room

The room is in a shared house with me, the landlady, and another lodger. I’ve been renting this room out for ten years and each of my lodgers have stayed for a while.

The room comes with plenty of storage, including an additional walk in wardrobe next to the bathroom.

You’ll have access to a shared front and back garden with a communal kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet.

The kitchen includes washing machine, fridge freezer, cooker and microwave.

The house is warm, comfortable and well maintained. I’m a retired teacher, and enjoy peace and quiet and do everything possible to make my lodgers feel welcome and at home. In return I expect my lodgers to be clean, tidy, responsible, reasonably quiet and considerate.

The house is close to local shops, a doctors surgery and good public transport.

Located in the Ashurst neighbourhood of Skelmersdale, it's about a two-minute walk to a bus, and small shopping area, and a 20 minute walk to the Concourse. Buses go to Ormskirk, Liverpool and Manchester.

There's parking available next to the house.

If you drive, it’s around 20 minutes Ormskirk and 40 minutes to Liverpool and Manchester. It would be a good place for someone working in Ormskirk, Manchester or Liverpool or the surrounding area as busses and trains. get you anywhere. There is plenty of street parking if you have a car.

The rent is paid every four weeks in advance and includes all bills, along with all cleaning and laundry products, bedding, towels and kitchen utensils.

This is a no smoking house.

£75 per week no deposit.

Will accept housing benefit.
