Looking for a professional person to live in this Grade 2 listed house. Located near Uppermill, a pleasant, bustling country village on the outskirts of Oldham. Full size Tesco and convenience Co-op supermarkets a 10 minute drive away. Country pubs, bars and gym are also a short drive away. The house also borders the peak district mountains, ideal for country walks.

Situated on a farm overlooking the valley, access is most convenient by car, but you can walk 10 minutes down a hill to the village centre.
Driveway parking is available.

The house has a warm shared kitchen with Aga oven and hot plates, full size fridge/freezer, dishwasher and clothes washing machine. Table and chairs also located in the kitchen. Clothes can be dried thoroughly overnight over the Aga.

Your room will be a large en-suite double master bedroom including chest of drawers, bedside cupboard and built in wardrobe. The en-suite has a walk in shower, toilet, wash basin and vanity cupboard. Large bay windows overlooking Uppermill valley below with secondary glazing to retain heat.

There are electric heaters throughout the house used to keep warm through the winter months.

The monthly rent includes all bills and council tax, except Internet fees. These are not included but there is known good reception for EE, Three and Virgin Mobile should you wish to use your own 3g/4g mobile broadband internet.

The house is less than 10 mins from Greenfield train station by car, so commutable into Manchester to Victoria or Piccadilly. The 7:45 and 8:30am train takes 20-30 mins into Manchester Piccadilly. Monthly return tickets to Manchester Piccadilly are currently just over £100.

Oldham town centre is also approx. 20-30 minutes by car. The M60 and M62 are a 20-30 min drive away.

The house is shared with a 30 year old male.
