Room will be available to let again from 26th January 2026

Spare double room, fully furnished in two bed end terrace house in Mountsorrel with driveway and garden. There is one bathroom which will be shared with myself (single female, in my forties), along with the kitchen and garden. There is also an outside toilet. Downstairs there is an open plan dining and sitting room. Bills are included ( including council tax).

For those who like to bike to work, there is a secure garage at the property.

Can be flexible on pricing if you only want a room for 2 to 3 nights a week

The house is a 5 minute walk from a Co Op, Bargain Booze, fish and chip shop, and pharmacy. It is situated next door to one of the two doctors surgeries in the village. There are 4 pubs in the village, all within a 10 to 15 minute walk. There are also about 5 cafes, 2 Indian restaurants, 3 Chinese takeaways, and a Dominoes pizza in the village.

The local leisure centre is a 5 minute drive, and 10 minute walk. There is a football pitch there, plus in the opposite direction (another 5 to 10 minute walk) there is another park and access to the countryside.

Beacon Hill park is about a 10 to 15 minute drive, and Bradgate park is about a 20 minute drive

Mountsorrel is just off the A6 about 1/2 way between Loughborough and Leicester. It is about 20 minutes to the M1 J21 or J23, and 10 minutes from the A46.

The house is on one of the main roads through the village, but is relatively quiet. There is a bus stop into Leicester on the opposite side of the road, buses run approximately every 15 minutes all day from 6am to 6pm then 1/2 hourly / hourly until 10.30 pm. Buses into Loughborough run from the same side of road as the house on the same frequency.

Plenty of footpaths in the village, and it is only a 5 to 10 minute walk into the countryside / nearest park, lots of cycling routes as well

The nearest rail station is Loughborough, which is easy to get to by car. Leicester train station is about a 30 minutes away, and there are local train stations in the neighbouring villages of Barrow Upon Soar and Sileby
