Room to rent in picturesque cottage

The cottage is situated in the heart of Woodhouse Eaves and is said to be around 200 hundred years old. There is a local village shop, pharmacy and post office a stones throw away. As well as this the village has 4 pubs all serving food all unique and sought after. There is also the village tea rooms, butchers, another village store which sells organic and local sourced produce. There is much more but I don’t want to go on. :)

Walking/running spots locally don’t get much better and can all be reached on foot from the cottage: Beacon Hill, Broombriggs farm trail, Outwoods, Swithland Woods and Bradgate park. As well as this there are lots of fields to explore, tennis courts and cricket/football pitch. The village hall hosts exercise classes and activities also weekly.

The bedroom has a small double or queen size bed with a brand new mattress. A chester draws, clothes rail, shelving, bedside table with storage inside and a full length mirror. What I love about this cottage upstairs are the high ceilings and beams the room is also on the back of the cottage so nice and quiet.

The living room has a velvet sofa with a collection of chairs. I collect vintage and antique furniture for the house so everything has a story/unique. There is a tv with Netflix etc. And an open fire which is dreamy in winter months. The kitchen has all you could want in regards to pans, utensils, glasses etc. Washing machine, fridge, toaster and kettle. The back garden has a fire pit and seating built specially for the space. There is also a table and chairs for eating outside.

So now me, my names Hannah, I’m 35 and have my own business as a gardener/garden designer. I lived in India for over 4 years and used to design textiles. Now a garden designer living a quieter life. I spend most my time outdoors working or walking my little doggie Dot the border terrier. Dot also lives here, incredibly friendly, loving and loyal. She’s great company, brimming with personality and loves fuss.

So we are looking for a mature student or working professional male/female to join us in our little happy cottage.
