Looking for one or two housemates to share our family home. We are a busy household who work from home, so we are looking for professional housemates who would be out working during the day/evening, and enjoys relaxing in the evening. Your room has tea & coffee making facilities, microwave & toaster, and is ideal as a cosy base to relax.

The room is clean & newly decorated & has a Juliette balcony with views overlooking the garden. It’s a lovely bright space & has a small dining area & mini kitchen area to give housemate some privacy & dining options. The second room is in the attic next to other room. It has twin beds & sloping ceiling, and also has a small kitchen area. There is a private bathroom for use of both housemates or sole use for one housemate. (Depending on take up, we would be happy to consider just one guest)

Our home would better suit people who enjoy their privacy & is relaxed & easy going.

We are happy to share the kitchen & lounge area most evenings & weekends, but due to our own work at home schedules this may not be possible every day during the week until after 7pm each night. Obviously we would be as flexible as possible with this arrangement.

Our home is a five bedroom Edwardian home & is spacious & full of character. It is set in a leafy part of East London with open parkland less than 5 minutes walk away. We are close to City airport & transport links to the City & West End (Central line & Manor Park to Liverpool Street).

We have a large child friendly garden with outdoor dining area. Happy to share part of the garden with housemate if you enjoy gardening or want to grow vegetables.

Wanstead is a lovely place to live & the high street offers independent shops, wine bars & cafe bistro dining. It is a community orientated neighbourhood with local events happening through out the year ie Farmers Markets, Vintage Fairs, Book sales etc.

We enjoy cycling & are happy to welcome fellow cycler to our fold & could store a bike. All things Nature & outdoors.

We are friendly & outgoing & do have visiting family staying regularly through out the year, especially our Grandson/Son. Equally we are happy to welcome any visiting friends or partners from time to time.

We love our home & are looking forward to welcoming new housemates into our household perhaps two existing friends looking to move together & share a private bathroom or one housemate who prefers a private bathroom & separate private area of the house.

We are looking to let from August/September onwards & have reduced our original asking price to attract more suitable candidates.
