We’ve got two rooms available on the 1st of May in a spacious converted factory flat located in Aldgate East with excellent transport connections;

We’re looking to find two like-minded professionals who are clean, considerate and up for a fun community vibe. We want to create an enjoyable home rather than just somewhere to come back to. We often have flat dinners, friends over, and occasional house parties, but we’re also respectful of each other’s personal space. We have a cleaning rota, and do our best to be climate conscious. We’d very much like someone who would fit the same vibe, and ideally who doesn’t work mostly from home as Zoe and I already do. This is a queer-friendly household 🏳️‍🌈

🏡The Flat

The flat is on the first floor of a renovated 1800s wool factory, with 24hr security and two lifts.

It’s a very spacious flat, comprising of; a shared living/kitchen space, a bathroom and 4 bedrooms (one with an ensuite). The flat has a lot of character, with hardwood floors, exposed brick and huge windows.


The living room has a large comfy sofa, TV with SKY Q (and many other subscriptions), and Switch for our entertainment.

The kitchen is complete with all white goods including a dishwasher and washing machine. This also includes communal crockery, pots, pans, a blender and an air-fryer.

🛏️ The Rooms:

Large Double Bedroom -
The large double room is furnished with a bed & mattress, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table. While the room does not have windows, it still receives a lot of light through the ceiling-length double doors with frosted windows. It is very spacious and you can easily fit in a desk if needed.

Small Double Bedroom -
The small double room is furnished with a bed & mattress, wardrobe, chest of draws and bedside table. The room benefits from a huge window and a large red industrial door which is quite the statement feature in the flat. This room may look small but you can pack a lot in here and it has a great industrial vibe!

💸 Financials
Rent: £850 (Large Double Room) & £750 (Small Double Room)
Deposit: £980.76
Projected bills: £120-150 (roughly £180 in winter)
Communal Items: Roughly £15 which cover communal house supplies like toilet roll etc.


Our council tax band is F.

You will be added to a tenancy contract which has 6 months left on the current lease. This will include referencing and proof of income. We’re ideally looking to renew next rental year.

You’ll be living with two others:-

🪴Zoe, 26-year-old, working full-time remotely in tech. She enjoys up-cycling furniture, nights out, plants, cooking, films and board games.

🪩José, 24 (gay), working full-time hybrid in tech. He enjoys nights out, cooking, music, coffee, and cycling.
