Come join us in our relaxed, friendly and creative household, where we enjoy cooking and eating together; sharing occasional musical jamming and movie nights; and all in a house with lots of perks not often found in London living!

Household:
We are Lucien, Todd and Ana, aged between 35 and 45 from Ireland, England and Spain; we work in set and prop design , hospitality and construction. We’re interested in art and culture, politics, travel, gardening, and are smoker-friendly (in the garden or up the chimney)

Who we are looking for:
Our only criteria are that we’d love to welcome someone friendly, open minded and happy to help with house cleaning (bonus if you are creative too).
To try and keep a balance, we are currently looking for a girl to move in.
The atmosphere of the house is super important to us: past tenants have often stayed for several years before moving onto pastures new, so a little community of past tenants has grown around the house, still returning for dinner and drinks in the garden.

House:
We live in a beautiful two-storied terraced house with:

a large living room with TV and hi-fi

a large kitchen with all of the mod cons like dishwashers, toasters etc, (except microwave)

a garden at the back growing fresh herbs and vegetables, with room to store a bike, and a fire pit for BBQs and late night fires

Location:
The house is extremely well connected whilst on a quiet, peaceful little road in a nice area. We’re just 5 minutes' walk away from:

Archway station (Northern Line, connects to Euston and Kings Cross St. Pancras train stations in just 10 mins)

Upper Holloway Overground

Bus services to Highbury & Islington, Camden, and central London

For shopping, there are mid-size Aldi and M&S supermarkets, plus smaller Sainsburys and Tescos also within five minutes' walk, and lots of nice independent shops and cafes too.

Room:

The room is a sunny south-facing double room, semi furnished with chest of drawers, wardrobe and double bed.

Tenancy, Benefits + references etc

The live-out landlord is fairly easy going and flexible, and his son is a family friend of one of the tenants. In the past, we’ve offered standard 12 months tenancy with 6 month break clause and no references required. If you need a bit more flex on this, please do enquire!
