Looking for a new housemate from April 2020

It's a two bed flat, and the room available is a double room. It's on a quiet road, with parks nearby and brilliant transport links: Arnos Grove underground station is a 7 minute walk away and is on the Piccadilly line, and New Southgate rail station is about 3 minutes away which can get you to Kings Cross (2 stops) in 20 minutes on the fast train. Also goes to various other places that you can find on the national rail website. There's also lots of free street parking near the property.

As mentioned the flat is newly redecorated and the room itself is a decent size, with plenty of cupboard space. The new bed is an ottoman so lots of storage underneath as well. There is a large lounge diner with dining table, separate kitchen with lots of storage, and a bathroom with a bath and shower. The flat has fibre broadband and smart tv with netflix. Apart from the parks nearby, Alexandra Park, which also has the best views of London, is not too far away.

The rent will be £550 per month including all bills except electricity. The electric bill is currently averaging around £35 per month each across the year, but obviously depends on usage. Ideally one months rent in advance, and deposit of £300.

I'm a 33 year old guy, working in international development (i. e. aid work). I'm looking for someone occasionally up for a chat, a meal, and some trashy/not so trashy tv. Of course, the usual applies about having your own space. I'm not obsessed with cleaning, but like to feel comfortable at home, so some reasonable effort to keep the place clean and tidy without being asked, would be appreciated.
