Housemate Wanted for easy-going house

Hello potential housemates!

We are looking for someone to fill a big and bright double room with loads of storage space available in a large five bedroom house from mid August. The room is on the 3rd floor, with your very own Juliet balcony and large vellum windows which means you always get the sunshine. The room is fully furnished with a King Size double bed, extra storage in the eaves and enough place to hold a desk and any other furniture you might be bringing with you. You’ll be hard pressed to find a room of this size as well priced anywhere else!

The house itself is in an amazing location just off Balham high-street with Balham Tube literally a 1 min walk away. All the amenities you need are nearby Aldi, Sainsburys and Waitrose all within a 5 minute walking distance. We are spoilt for choice for Bars/ Pubs/ Restaurants and best of all one of the best pubs in Balham, The Regent, directly opposite! The location is amazing for green space too with both Clapham Common, Wandsworth Common and Tooting Common all a 10 Minute walk away!

The house is spacious, spread over 3 floors. We have a big lounge/dining area that we hang out in most evenings that has a big dining room table perfect for working from home if you don’t fancy being in your room. We have a bright open kitchen area that leads onto a little courtyard, perfect for catching some sun in the summer. The house also has really fast internet so you don't have to worry about any broken zooms. You’ll be sharing a bathroom/shower with 3 others however there is a separate bathroom on the ground floor.

You’ll be living with four lovely, friendly and easy going housemates all in their late 20’s/early 30’s (two ladies and two guys). Two of us are work from home but starting to return to the office sporadically. We often have dinner together and watch TV in the evening however we all have our own things going on so also appreciate our own space and privacy. We are looking for an equally friendly, positive and chill person to join the house!

The price of the room is £650 per month, plus c.£69 bills / £20 house fees (toilet paper, tea/coffee, cleaner once every two weeks). A plus is that there is also no landlord fees and the deposit is one months rent.

Looking for:
- Ideally someone close to us in age so 25-35
- Working professional with a 9-5 job (working from home is totally fine!)
- Friendly and easy-going
- Clean and considerate
