Large Double Room in Balham & Clapham

Large double room, available 6th April (£1,172pcm)

We’re looking to fill this room ASAP this week due to someone having to drop out!

I’m moving for work so I’m looking for someone to take my large double room in a newly renovated Mansion House top-floor flat. The flat is a three-bed flat and you’d be sharing with two 28 year old girls. The room is available from the 6th April on a one year contract with a 6 month break clause.

Location:
The flat is really spacious and in a quiet residential area of Clapham South/Balham with no road noise and great transport links, including a 3-minute walk to Clapham South tube station and a 15-minute walk to Balham overground station. Also has a large Tesco, a small Sainsbury’s and M&S all within a 5 minute walk.

The Flat:
Shared living areas include a spacious open-plan lounge and dining area with a separate kitchen. These areas have been fully decorated and furnished with modern appliances, so no additional communal furniture is needed. Additionally, the flat has access to a shared outdoor space for bike storage.

The room is the largest double room with a huge amount of space for a desk, etc. (if WFH is required) and any additional furniture. It also features a large built-in wardrobe with plenty of storage space and a bed. The rent is £1172pcm and bills normally come to about £120 but this obviously can change each month.

Flatmates:
You’ll be sharing with two 28 year old girls who work in branding and in events who split their time between the office and home, working from home 2 or 3 days a week.

Ideally looking for someone who’s a similar age and clean and tidy. Also keen to have someone who’s friendly and social and is happy to chill in the evenings with wine or watch a film, but also values their own space.
