Large double in spacious Balham flat

Hello,

We’re looking for a new housemate (preferably a guy to keep the balance) to join us at 91 Ritherdon from 9th of June in the lovely Balham.

The flat is a bright spacious 4-bed maisonette on a quiet road which is a short walk from all the amenities that you’ll ever need (Aldi/Waitrose/Sainsbury’s/Tesco all within a 10 min walk). We’ve got two bathrooms, a separate toilet and a utility room so there’s no issues getting ready in the morning. The flat has a really homely feel which we’ve all come to know and love and often find ourselves spending evenings together chilling out in the lounge.

Balham itself has an abundance of pubs and bars and never more than a few minutes from a quaint brunch spot.
In terms of transport links, Balham station is an 8 minute walk away which has both the tube and overground which is always useful, failing that, Tooting Bec tube station is also within 10 minutes so getting around London is never a problem. There is also parking on the road with permits available but free parking at the weekends.

This room is a large double on the first floor facing away from the road with plenty of space and storage. It gets plenty of light especially in the morning and is perfect for working from home if that’s what you need! This room is fully furnished.

*The people*

We are all spareroomers; Jamie moved in June 2020 with Beckie and Camille moving earlier this year. We’ve all got our separate friendship circles but do socialise a fair bit together and it wouldn’t be uncommon to mix friendship groups so we’re ideally looking for someone who would be open to that.

*A bit about us…*
Jamie is 28, works in marketing usually going into the office a couple of times a week and working from the flat for the remainder of the week. Outside of work he enjoys all kinds of sports (watching/playing), going to gigs and exploring London.

Camille is our resident engineer. When she’s not in the office or on site, she’s helpfully fixing cupboard doors and fridge shelves (and various London bridges).

Beckie is a children’s nurse and works 9-5. She’s into her running and has covered most of the SW by foot.

*The boring bits:* The rent is £936 per month, bills come to about £130 a month all in all. We’ve scraped together a subscription for BT + Netflix etc. including a Trueview box so we can watch live TV at our own leisure!

We will be doing viewings 16th May with the move being early June!
