Spacious double room in the heart of Balham

After 5 years, our lovely housemate Liv is moving in with her partner, and we’re looking for someone to take over her room.

The flat is located on a very quiet residential street, only a 5 minute walk from Balham high street and station (Northern Line and National Rail). There are lots of lovely coffee shops and pubs all within a short walking distance. Tooting Common is a two minute walk away, and Clapham and Wandsworth Commons are both a 10 minute walk. There is also a big Aldi, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose 5 minutes walk away for all your grocery needs.

The flat is on the top floor and you will have a spacious double room. The room comes with a double bed, large wardrobe, chest of draws and desk. There is also space for a larger desk if you want to bring your own, perfect for anyone who works from home. Danny has his own bathroom, so you would only be sharing with one other. Sidenote: We’re also keen to change up the feng shui of the living room, suggestions welcome.

Our contract will renew 1st May, but we are looking for someone to move in on 21st March, when Liv moves out. The rent is £825 a month and bills are roughly £100 a month each, including WiFi, electricity, gas, council tax, water etc. we also have Netflix and Prime. The deposit is £866.

You will be living with two guys, Danny (30) and James (28). We have both lived here with Liv for the last 4 years - having met her on SpareRoom also - and have loved our time together in the flat and the area. We both work in Central and mix working from home and going in the office. We are both friendly, tidy, sociable, laid back, and are looking for someone similar. We enjoy spending time together but each have our own friendship groups and will often have different plans on the weekends (but we are not a party flat!)
