Double room w/ private bathroom near commons 🌳

I have a lovely double bedroom with a private bathroom available for an initial 3 month stay.

The flat is shared with me, a 38 year-old working professional and occasionally my miniature dachshund, who spends about 50% of his time here. He’s a sweet but slightly anxious boy who can take a little time to warm up to new people, so this definitely isn’t a party house. It’s much more of a calm, relaxed home.

The room comes with a double bed, mirror and built in wardrobes. I can provide a desk if needed, or remove it if you would prefer more space.

The flat is set over two levels, with the bedroom and bathroom on the same floor as the living room, kitchen and terrace. In spring and summer, the terrace is a real sun trap. It gets sunshine from first thing in the morning until around 6pm, which is perfect for a coffee or winding down after work.

Location wise, it’s in a super convenient spot between Clapham South and Balham tube stations. We’re just a few minutes’ walk from the commons, as well as plenty of shops, cafés and pubs.

All bills are included in the rent with the exception of gas and electric which works out around £80 each on average.

A bit about me, I’m a working professional who works from home most days. I love a chat and a social night in or a night out, but I also really value my own space and downtime, so I’m looking for someone similar who is respectful of that balance.

The room is available as my friend is heading off travelling, which is why there is flexibility around a possible longer stay for the right person.
