Hello! We are two professionals in the performing arts (27 and 24) looking to fill a cosy room in our 3-bedroom flat. Looking to sublet the space for 1-2 months with the premise of extending to a 12-month sublet contract if it’s a good fit.

Rent (including all bills and council tax!) is £840.

The flat:
-lovely bright living/dining room with big windows overlooking a garden, shared with the building of 3 other flats
-one flight of outdoor stairs from ground to entrance, one more flight of stairs from kitchen/living room level to bedroom/bathroom level
-gate with code keeps garden and building secure
-shared kitchen and appliances, but no dishwasher
-washing machine
-Separate toilet and shower rooms (so no queues!)

The room: furnished
-double bed, wardrobe, small desk
-can add nightstand if you like, it’s in storage :)
-window overlooking street

Location
-15 min walk from Balham tube and national rail
-quiet, calm residential street
-safe area, 5 min walk from Tooting Common and lovely green space

Who we’re looking for:
-professional in their mid-late 20s or early 30s
-clean, considerate and respectful of others’ space

This is a queer + trans safe home! We are friendly people and enjoy a chat but very much respect each others’ space, especially when we’re working long hours. I (Hannah, she/her) am a professional cellist, and practice at home every day (only between 9am-9:30pm.) Josie (they/she) is a lighting designer and we are both freelancers whose schedules vary from time to time. We occasionally host small groups of friends (Josie is an avid organizer of crafting parties.)
