A lovely furnished double room is available in a modern and well maintained 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom appartment in this recently redeveloped part of Barking. The room has its own bathroom and you have access to the shared open plan kitchen, living room and dining space. There is a large balcony overlooking the river. It's a surprising and unexpected gem in Barking, an area where there is lots of redevelopment, such as the recently opened Women's Museum. The apartment is a 10-15 minute walk to Barking Station with access to the C2C line into Fenchurch Street (within 15 mins), district line into Central London and overground to Gospel Oak.

You'll be sharing with Karina, who has been living at the property for over a year and is the lead tenant. Karina loves the light airy space and keeps the property clean and looking lovely! She's keen to share with someone who is also clean and tidy and up for sharing dinner, watching TV or enjoying the balcony together jn summer. Karina is a friend and old colleague of mine. A lovely and generous person and a great flatmate!

Myself and my husband are the property owners and moved to Manchester temporarily for work. We bought this property brand new as our first home and its a very special place for us so whilst we don't live there currently, this isn't about making money but ensuring our home is in good hands and well looked after, whilst covering our costs. We feel very lucky to have a friend living in and looking after our home so we want someone else who will love and care for the space to join her!

The rent includes all bills and there is access to bike store and parking space neogtiable. Myself and my husband Steven are contactable at any time to answer questions or sort out any issues at the property. We have family in the area so still regularly visit and can be available to resolve any issues.
