Big room in 4 person house near King's Cross

Hello future housemate,

We are looking for a clean, respectful, good-natured housemate to take over the 4th room in a big terraced house near King’s Cross. Our landlord is very nice and easy going but one of his very few requests is that you are a working professional or a PhD student. Males, females or however you wish to identify yourself are all welcome.

A little bit about your future housemates:

You will be sharing the house with 3 females in their mid-20s, early 30s, who are clean, friendly and respectful. Maria 26 is an Interior Architect, Alejandra 27 is a PhD student, Sara 30 is a vet and also doing a PhD. We are also from different countries and are always happy to share our own experience and traditions with each other.

We each have our own separate lives but we also like to get together sometime, have a laugh and catch up over some good food. Please note that this is not a party house.

A little bit about the house:

It's a big 3 storey house, with a decent sized kitchen, separate living room, and two toilets, one of which has a bathtub/ shower. There is plenty of storage space across the house and we also have a small back garden with some plants and a table and chairs.

The kitchen has 2 fridges and 2 freezers, washing machine/ dryer, gas hob and oven, microwave, toaster, electric kettle. We also have a TV in the living room with 2 sofas and a daybed.

The room:
Room itself is carpeted, has a double bed, large window, desk, chest of drawers, bookshelf and clothes rack and there is space for additional furniture should you wish to bring any.

Bills per person per month:
Gas & Electricity- 20 GBP
Council Tax- 34 GBP
Water- 15 GBP
Wifi- 6.50 GBP
A cleaner who comes every 2 weeks- 12.50 GBP

The Area:

The area is amazing, it is very well connected with the nearest tube being King’s Cross St Pancras which is a 10 min walk, there are also plenty of bus stops around. You will find shops, restaurants and cafes within a few minutes walk and with Coal Drops Yard and Regent’s Canal being only a 5 min walk from the house. There is a big Waitrose 5 mins walk, a Tesco metro 10 mins walk and a big Sainsbury’s 15 min walk as well as a local convenience shop 2 mins walk. Angel is also just a 20 min walk away.
Although the house is in King’s Cross, it is in a quiet area surrounded by other houses.

We are aware that there is a pandemic happening in the world so we do try to be careful and practice common sense.
Two of us are also fully vaccinated and one will have her second dose mid August.
