Bright Double room in Barnsbury

Hello, I’m looking for a new flatmate to replace mine who will be moving in with her boyfriend.

The room will be available from mid April, with some flexibility as my flatmate finalises her plans.

The rent is £935 per month and excludes bills, which come out to around £150 each (council tax band C). You would be replacing my flat mate on the tenancy with the contract up for renewal from the end of June. I am looking for someone who will want to renew the contract with me after this date, which would run for 12 months.
The letting agents would also need to complete the usual referencing checks.

Room
Double room which comes with a double bed and mattress but is otherwise unfurnished (the furniture in the pictures belongs to my flatmate).

There’s enough space for a desk for wfh, a wardrobe and drawers. You can also see that my flatmate’s placed an armchair in there too!

Flat and location
The flat itself is bright, spacious and very quiet with an incredible central location.
There’s a separate living room and kitchen and we actually have stairs.
We are a mile from both Highbury and Islington and Kings Cross stations.

About Me
I’m from London and work in public sector policy. I split my time 50/50 between working from the office and from home. I pretty much follow a 9-5ish schedule and am out a few nights during the week so appreciate the flat being a chilled and relaxing space during this time. I occasionally have friends over for dinner but mostly tend to socialise outside the flat.

I spend a few evenings a week keeping active, with dance and swimming being my main hobbies. I’m a keen cook, enjoy the pub, eating out, art exhibitions, seeing plays and dance and catching up with friends.

I’m clean and tidy so someone who shares those traits would be a good fit.
