Double Room in Islington Terrace House

We have a bright and spacious double room available from 1st April in our lovely home, set in a fantastic central location.
The neighbourhood is charming and quite convenient. King’s Cross, Angel and Upper Street are all within a 20-minute walk, and there are great transport links nearby, so getting around is fairly easy.

The house is an old Georgian terrace house spread over three floors, which has retained a lot of its original features. The big sash windows (single glazed) and high ceilings make the whole house feel quite airy and open. We have a separate dining room and kitchen with a dishwasher. Beside the WC on the ground floor, you will be sharing a bathroom with one other flatmate. In the summer it is quite nice to sit in the back garden, even though it is north facing. There is also plenty of storage space around the house.

The room itself is on the first floor and gets lots of natural light from south-facing windows. The room faces onto Richmond Avenue. The room will be unfurnished, but there are some shelves in our shed that you are welcome to take and repurpose. The rent is £925 per month, and bills, internet and council tax (band D) come to around £150 per month - this also includes our lovely cleaner who comes every two weeks.

A bit about us (Holly and Edwin) – we’re both working professionals in our 30s who enjoy relaxing after a long day, sometimes cooking or chatting together in the evening, but we also really value our own space and downtime. It’s important to us that the house feels easy, respectful and comfortable for everyone.

We’re ideally looking for someone with a similar routine who is considerate, tidy and looking for a place to genuinely feel at home rather than just somewhere to stay.
