Hi!
My name is Rich, I'm a 34 year old guy from London. My current flatmate is moving out at the end of March which means there will be a double ensuite room available from 1st April 2026.
The apartment is a modern 2 bed flat, with an open plan kitchen/living area with all the modern amenities including air conditioning, underfloor heating, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, and a Juliet balcony. There are massive floor-to-ceiling windows in all the rooms, which lets in loads of natural light, but there are also blinds and curtains to pull across if you want a bit of privacy or darkness.
The development itself is called "Bloom Nine Elms" and is only a year or so old, with some of the best amenities in the entire city. These include 2 x rooftop pools, a hot tub, 2 x 360 degree roof terraces, 2 x gyms, meeting rooms, and various other entertainment areas, games rooms and recreational rooms. It's located just a few hundred metres away from Battersea Power Station on the river, with a Waitrose and Sainsbury's also really close by. I've uploaded a few photos but feel free to check out the Bloom Nine Elms website as they have a few more images on there.
If you are a WFH warrior or are in a hybrid work schedule, then there are also 2 x co-working spaces which you're able to use, giving you a change of scenery from the flat. However if you need to travel into the office then we're also really well connected with Battersea Power Station tube (Northern line) less than a 5 minute walk away, Vauxhall Tube (Victoria line) a 10 minute walk in the other direction, and Battersea Park overground also a 10 minute walk away. There is also an Uber River Boat service from Battersea Power Station, as well as multiple Lime bikes nearby to jump on if you need to.
There is underground parking but the spaces are really limited, and you have to apply through the building. However if you do have a car then there are a few spaces nearby that you can hire if you need to.
Rent is £1627 PCM (per person) + bills on top, which come to around £150-200 per person. So you'd be looking at a total of around £1850 all in, which is actually really good value for what you get for your money.
**Please note your room is unfurnished, so you'd need to take that into account when moving in.
ABOUT ME:
I'm a very friendly and easy-going guy, who enjoys going out and socialising (particularly on weekends) and keeping fit. I used to be an ex-Army Captain but I now work in Private Security, typically on rotation and sometimes internationally. So I won't be in the flat all the time. I enjoy rugby (although nowadays it's mostly watching rather than playing!) and also writing music. I have a music degree and a little set up in my room so I try and keep that going for a bit of fun.
Ideally looking for a male housemate between the ages of 25-35 who's easy to get along with and a good, fun bloke overall.
I'm due to be in London for the next couple of weeks so should be available to do some viewings fairly soon. I will do my best to get back to everyone but please understand that I also get a lot of messages.
The successful candidate will have to undergo reference checks which are done by the building, so I will be keeping the advert open until these references are complete, just in case of any issues.
Thanks for your time :)
