Double room in Battersea

Hey girls!

Sadly our flatmate is leaving to move in with her boyfriend! There is one double room available in this ground floor/basement flat from 20th/21st April. We’re looking to get viewings done ASAP

Ideally looking for female working professionals between 24-30 years old. No students sorry!

Location wise this flat is amazing with Battersea Park station a two min walk away, Queenstown Road a five minute walk and you are a 10 min walk away from the Power Station with the northern line. There are plenty of buses around our road as well so you are spoilt for choice! Battersea Park is also directly behind us. You can also get to central so easily!

You will be sharing with myself (Isabelle), I work as a nanny. I enjoy running, skiing, baking, travelling and going out with friends.

Romee works full time in events. I enjoy skiing, spinning classes, travelling and going out with friends.

We are keen to find someone who is clean, respectful and chilled out to join the flat which has been made into a cosy home. We aren’t a party house although it would be nice to find another social housemate who wants to cook/have a drink/go out for dinner together now and then but also respect each other’s time. We love to watch the odd film or trashy tv show together in the evenings so would love to find someone else who would enjoy that. Ideally, we’re looking for a housemate who doesn’t work from home a lot as the room is slightly too small for a desk.

Now for the important bits!

The room: This room is a decent size and it comes furnished with a double bed, three chest of drawers and a built in wardrobe including a shoe rack. It also has access to the garden.
The rent for this room is £998.43 and bills are roughly £100 on top. Deposit: to be confirmed with landlord

Currently for the house I am the account holder for the electric, gas and water and pay the rent payments. Romee pays for WiFi and the new housemate will take over the council tax.

Overall this flat is amazing and although the kitchen and bathroom aren't the newest, it has worked well for us and we keep everything super clean and tidy with a cleaning rota. The kitchen and lounge are open plan which makes for a lovely social atmosphere which we all enjoy regularly. Additional to our main bathroom, the flat includes a separate toilet, so you never have to wait! The garden is decently sized and gets lots of sunlight which is lovely in the summer.
