Lovely bright double room available in light, airy, flat with sunny garden, positioned just a few steps from Battersea Park, the river and the King's Road, Chelsea.

The flat is split over 2 floors, and is light, modern and spacious, with a front and back garden. It has a large kitchen (with dishwasher) that opens up into a spacious living room and dining area, with French windows into the back garden (which is nice and sunny). There is also a downstairs toilet, and a cupboard containing a washing machine and separate dryer, plus a hall cupboard for coats and shoes, and plenty more storage cupboards.

Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and a large main bathroom with a free standing shower, bath, loo and bidet.

The available room is Room 2 in the photos, has a double bed, a built in wardrobe, bedside table and lamp. Immediately outside the room on the landing is a chest of drawers for the sole use of this room.

All bills (gas, electricity, superfast fibre broadband, council tax, water, tv licence) are included. Any extra expenses re household stuff like loo paper, cleaning materials, cleaner etc is to be worked out with your flat mates.

So far the flat consists of Vanessa and Daisy - we are looking for a like-minded flat mate, who is clean, tidy and respectful, has a healthy lifestyle, and a positive attitude to life with their own interests.

We'd love a flatmate who wants create a home and get to know each other, and who'd like live in a peaceful and happy atmosphere. We'd like to share a drink or cooking together sometimes, watch tv etc, but we also value our own privacy. We are sociable and open minded, and like exercising, cooking and music.

In the back garden there is a small garden house which is used by the landlady a few days a month. She accesses it through the property each month, but does not invade our living space and you won't know she's there. She is a lovely, fun woman – it's impossible not to like her once you've met her!

The area is great; 2-3 minutes walk to Battersea Park, Albert & Battersea bridge, and the river. The park has an athletics track and gym, a zoo, and a boating lake. The flat just a few minutes walk to Chelsea and the King's Road.

There is also a Leisure Centre and Nuffield gym at the Latchmere about 5-10 minutes walk away. There are also local supermarkets, butcher, chemist and restaurants all within easy walking distance.

The closest tube stations are South Kensington and Sloane Square reachable with a short bus ride or if you fancy a nice walk it's about 25-30 mins to either if you are not in a rush.

It is also a short bus ride or walk to Clapham Junction station (for the Overground, and trains to Victoria, Waterloo, London Bridge, Gatwick etc) plus there are buses to Victoria and Vauxhall in easy reach too.
