Double bedroom in 2 bed flat, Belsize Park

Hi there!

I am looking for a housemate for a full-time let (see rental price below). The flat is on the second floor of a small block with friendly neighbours, located on a quiet street in Belsize Park.

The flat has a creative bohemian vibe, with lots of art on the walls and a vinyl player with a very good sound-system in the living room! It’s spacious with parquet wooden flooring throughout. The bedroom available for rent is bright and airy. It has a double bed, mirror and large double wardrobes (with further cupboard space above).

The flat has a bathroom with a power shower, sink and toilet. The kitchen includes the usual (washing machine, fridge, freezer) but does not have a dishwasher. There is a balcony just off the large living and dining room, which overlooks the beautiful communal gardens. This room is bright and airy, and full of lots of natural sunlight.

The flat is an equidistant 10 min walk from both Belsize Park tube station (Northern line) and Swiss Cottage tube station (Jubilee mine). It is a 3 minute walk from Englands Lane which has plenty of independent cafes/delis and a great local pub. It is an 8 minute walk to Haverstock Hill which has all the local amenities (post office, dry cleaners, boots, supermarket, restaurants and bars). There's also lots of bus stops around the area if you prefer to travel by bus. You are also within walking distance from the sought after areas of Hampstead Heath, West Hampstead, Hampstead Village and Primrose Hill.

Rent is £1,150 per month (exc bills). A pro rata contribution towards bills is required from the tenant (which covers council tax, water, contents insurance, electricity, gas, tv licence, smart tv, superfast virgin media internet). This is approximately £220 per month per tenant.

*Please note that there are no additional agency fees as this is a private let, as my family own the property. Reference checks will be conducted however. The deposit will be equivalent to 5 weeks rent (£1327).

Finally, I’m afraid the room isn’t available for someone who needs to work remotely all the time, as there’s no space for a desk and I want to keep the living room as a shared communal area, not a home office.
