The room is newly decorated. It has a large, wooden sash window, bed, wardrobe and an extra storage cupboard in the hall. Dimensions: 12ft x 9ft.

The flat:
First floor of a mansion block. It faces a quiet street from the front, and peaceful communal gardens from the back. Shared living room, with sofas, TV and fireplace. Kitchen has a table with space for three, and looks onto a balcony. Great for cyclists: there is a secure outdoor shed where you can keep your bike. No hauling it up the stairs!

Separate loo and bathroom (with bath and shower).

The area:
5 mins walk to Belsize Park tube, 10 minutes to Hampstead Heath. Easy access to Primrose Hill and central London.

About me:
You'll be sharing with me, Tom. I'm 30, I work in social research and have lived in the flat about 1.5 years. I manage the flat on behalf of the landlord. I like an easygoing, friendly, and peaceful environment. Enjoy socialising with flatmates over a board game or meal but also have a busy life of my own.

The flat has some basic rules, including a cleaning rota, but nothing too onerous.
