I am subletting one of the rooms in my flat. Available is a small cosy double.
It includes a very comfortable double futon, large chest of drawers, bedside cabinet and small wardrobe.
Rent includes all bills (council tax, gas, electricity, water and internet), plus a cleaner.
The room is not suitable for someone who works from home.
Bright shared living room/kitchen which is well stocked with all the equipment you might need.
Large shared bathroom.
The flat is about 12 minutes walk to Bermondsey tube station, 15-20 minutes to Surrey Quays Overground and about 5 minutes to South Bermondsey mainline. Santander Cycle Station two minutes away. There are shops for your everyday needs within a few minutes walk and Bermondsey Street/Borough Market night life about 30 minutes walk, or one stop on the tube.
You would be sharing with a 41 year-old female journalist. I'm clean and tidy. I have friends round for dinner occasionally but most nights it will just be us in the flat. Looking for that elusive flatmate set up where we get on well, might have a glass of wine together in the evening, but also respect each other's space and keep this a nice, relaxed place to live!
