Double room available in a unique flat |Bermondsey

Hi! My name is Patricia and I’m looking for a new flatmate to move into a double room available from June 2024.

THE PROPERTY
This is a unique flat inside a 19th century church which was converted into an apartment building in 2005. The building is grade II listed so all the brick walls and arches of the original structure have been maintained, which makes this a one of a kind living space.

You will be living in a 2-bed, 1 bathroom furnished apartment with all the modern utilities you need, including a fridge/freezer, gas-hob oven, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher and floor heating in the bedrooms. The living room and kitchen is open space, making it perfect for hosting dinner parties and board games nights with friends. This home is truly comfortable and a quiet place.

EXISTING TENANT
The other double bedroom is rented by a professional. I usually work 3 days a week from the office, so you would have the space all to yourself during the day. I am a very tidy person so I’m looking for someone that also likes to keep the flat clean.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The building is located in the residential part of Bermondsey - 15min walk to Bermondsey Station and 10min walk to South Bermondsey. There are also a lot of bus stops nearby with great connectivity to Central London.

Despite the building being situated on a quiet street, there are a lot of restaurants and bar options nearby - Bermondsey Street is only 15min away and London Bridge & Borough Market is 20min away.

COST
The room rent is £1,175 per month excluding bills. The lease term will be 18 months term with a break in 12 months. The property agents will require a refundable deposit and a standard background check.
