Double room in Bermondsey maisonette

I'm letting a double room in my maisonette in Bermondsey.

This is a three-bed maisonette flat, with a large kitchen, living room, and bathroom with a separate bath and shower, as well as a terrace.

You would be living with my sister and I who have recently moved in. I’m (31F) a civil servant working mostly from home and she’s (27F) a journalist working a mixture from home and office. We’ve both lived in London for a while, and enjoy theatre/cinema, reading, languages, eating out and travel. We’re looking for someone of similar age and interests.

I want the place to be a relaxed and welcoming environment for everyone, so looking for someone who is clean and respectful of the common areas as well as having a warm and friendly household.

The flat has just finished being renovated, and I’m still furnishing a few bits (notably the living room and terrace, as you’ll see from the pictures), but expect it to be fully furnished within a couple of months.

The room comes with a double bed, as well as a small wardrobe, chest of drawers, mirror and bedside table.

The flat is a 12 minute walk from Bermondsey tube (Jubilee) and 15 minute walk from South Bermondsey train station.

Within very short walking distance of the flat, you'll find a Tesco, Iceland and 24-hr international supermarket - with a large Lidl, ASDA and Tesco a bit further away. All the usual amenities of central London are nearby too!

The bills are not included – I’m expecting them to be around £200 per person a month (wifi, Council tax, gas/electricity and fortnightly cleaner). We’ll split the bills equally between 3.

I’ll need a month’s rent as deposit (to be held in the Tenancy Deposit Scheme) and a couple of references.
