Lovely double room

Hello SpareRoom hunters! 👋

I’m subletting my lovely room in our shared house in Bermondsey for around 3 months while I go travelling in Asia.

A bit about me and the room:
🧘‍♀️ Sofia – female / 29 – psychospiritual therapist. Italian gal who loves nature, crafting, and creating cosy spaces.

The room is furnished with plenty of wardrobe space and storage, and it’s a really comfortable, peaceful place to come home to.

About the house:
🏡 A beautiful 4-floor townhouse in Bermondsey with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one with a bath, one with a shower), a kitchen, living room, guest room/studio space, and a lovely back garden.

The location is fantastic – about a 10-minute walk to both London Bridge station (rail + tube) and Bermondsey tube station (Jubilee line).

I’ve lived in this homely house for a year and a half and absolutely love it. The housemates are kind, interesting and welcoming. We’re all friendly and sometimes hang out together, but everyone also respects their own space, so it’s a really nice balance.

The house is well maintained with a relaxed and responsive landlord. We also have a cleaner once a week for the communal areas (included in the rent), and all bills are included.

A bit about the housemates:
🎶 Paris – male / 36 – breathwork coach, social entrepreneur, audio/visual artist, DJ, film producer and videographer. Also a big fan of stand-up comedy!

🍷 Zedi – female / 34 – interior designer. Loves a classy art gallery just as much as Married at First Sight

💃🏻 Mhairi – female / 30 – actor, dancer and theatre developer. A proud Northerner who loves travelling.

🐱 Sister – female / 17 – chief lap-napper, best cuddler, and old lady sassy cat. You’ll need to be a cat lover and happy to give Sister the occasional stroke 😊

About you:
We’re looking for someone kind, respectful and easygoing who will fit well with the house. This is very much a homely house rather than a party house, so big house parties aren’t really our thing (please take your afters elsewhere!). Friends and partners popping by in the evenings are absolutely welcome.

Availability:
The room is available from 13 May until mid-August (approximately). Dates can be a little flexible, so please get in touch if it sounds like it could be a good fit!

The viewings will take place between now and April 3rd.
